Nahiem Alleyne - Plays through hamstring issueAlleyne closed with 11 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one assist and one steal over 21 minutes during Saturday's 114-61 victory over LIU.
ImpactAccording to Joe Arruda of the Harford Courant, Alleyne had been dealing with a hamstring injury this week. The expectation was that he'd still be available, which was indeed the case in the blowout victory. The caliber of opponent should be taken into account here, but Alleyne did log his most minutes since Nov. 20, as well as his second-highest points total of the season. While Alleyne started the first eight games of the season for the Huskies, he's came in off the bench in the most recent three due to the return of Andre Jackson.
