Impactful in debut Figueroa had six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, four steals and two assists across 26 minutes off the bench in his Oregon debut Friday against Seton Hall. Impact Figueroa recently received his waiver for immediate eligibility from the NCAA, allowing the St. John's transfer to suit up for the Ducks after only missing one game. The 6-6 senior didn't start, but made a major defensive impact as the leading reserve. While Figueroa plays a similar position to Eric WIlliams Jr. and Eugene Omoruyi, the duo still saw 33 and 35 minutes in the contest, respectively. Instead, the added playing time for Figueroa came in a small-ball lineup at the expense of N'Faly Dante, or with Amauri Hardy on the bench and Chris Duarte sliding over to point. If Dana Altman decides he's comfortable with Duarte running point, the logical switch would be for Figueroa to ultimately enter the starting five in favor of Hardy. In any case, there's enough minutes here for Figueroa to immediately become fantasy relevant. He was the Red Storm's leading scorer at 14.5 ppg, after all. A big game is coming.
