Nelson Phillips - Absent from Sun Belt tourneyPhillips (undisclosed) did not appear in any of Georgia State's three Sun Belt tournament games.
ImpactPhillips had previously appeared in 22 games for Georgia State and even started 11, but no word of a specific injury has yet surfaced for the junior guard. He did miss out on a Feb. 23 contest due to unspecified reasons as well, but returned to log 10 minutes off the bench in the regular season finale just two days later. With Georgia State clinching a NCAA Tournament bid, it remains unclear if Phillips will be available to contribute. In his stead, leading scorer Corey Allen has retaken his spot in the starting five.

Eliel Nsoseme - Third straight double-doubleNsoseme registered 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 34 minutes during Monday's 80-71 win over Louisiana.
ImpactNsoseme had a late start to his senior season due to a knee injury, but he made his season debut for the Panthers on Jan. 6 and was immediately put in the starting lineup the following game. He then proceeded to collect double-digit rebounds in 10 of the next 15 games, and will finish the Sun Belt tournament with a double-double in all three contests. While the Panthers struggled early without the 6-8 power forward, Nsoseme has been able to spark a turnaround and is a big reason Georgia State will carry a 10-game winning streak into the NCAA Tournament.
