ImpactThere wasn't a whole lot of positive to take away from Louisville's 45-pound defeat, but the return of Williams from a long-term foot injury gives the Cardinals reason for optimism moving forward. Louisville hasn't been with a fully healthy frontcourt all season, and the return of a former starter that put up 8.5 points and 6.1 rebounds a season ago provides a massive boost. It wouldn't be shocking to see Williams carve a starting role out before it's all said and done, and with Louisville owning a relatively safe position in the NCAA Tournament at this time, coach Chris Mack will have some leeway to experiment with his player alignment.

ImpactThe Tar Heels were able to empty their entire bench in Saturday's blowout victory, but during that process, Harris was able to log his second-highest scoring total of the season. While healthy, he'll likely be clawing for minutes moving forward for a North Carolina team with a deep backcourt.

ImpactSharpe only received 17 minutes off the bench -- his fourth straight game in which he played under 20 minutes -- but paced the Tar Heels on offense while also recording his fifth double-double of the campaign. He is averaging 13.8 points and 8.6 rebounds across 19.2 minutes per game in five appearances this month.

ImpactWalton made most of his damage from three-point range, as he drained a season-high five treys while also extending his streak of games with at least two three-point shots to seven contests. He is shooting 52.5 percent from deep in that seven-game span while also scoring 11.4 points per contest.

ImpactJones was the only Louisville player that recorded more than 10 points even when he struggled with his shot, as he made just six of his 15 field-goal attempts. Jones has been Louisville's top scoring threat all season long, though, scoring at least 11 points in every single game and averaging 17.1 points per contest while shooting 41 percent from the field.

Exits game with thigh bruiseDavis left late in Saturday's 99-54 loss to UNC with a thigh bruise, Shannon Russell of The Athletic reports.

ImpactDavis had a little collision in the late stages of Saturday's game against UNC and ended up leaving with an apparent thigh bruise. The 6-5 freshman finished the day with four points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and a rebound in a season-low 20 minutes as his status remains unknown for Tuesday's meeting against Notre Dame.

ImpactManley has been dressed in each of the last four games for but has yet to take the floor. Seeing that he didn't play despite Saturday's game being a blowout should entail that he likely won't end up making an appearance this season after undergoing knee surgery in December of 2019.
