Malik Williams - Decent output despite defeat
Williams registered 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 25 minutes during Monday's 64-52 loss to Virginia.
Impact
Williams has now scored in double digits in three of his last four contests, but it's worth noting that he's now gone seven straight appearances without reaching the 15-point mark after he started the new year with a 20-point, 11-rebound effort against Georgia Tech on Jan. 2. As a result, he's only averaging 8.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this month.

Matt Cross - Struggles from field in loss
Cross produced 11 points (5-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 29 minutes during Monday's 64-52 loss to Virginia.
Impact
Cross might have posted a double-digit scoring output, but it's worth noting that he was coming off scoring seven points combined over his previous four contests, and that he has scored in double digits just twice this month. Cross is averaging 7.1 points per game this season but has been playing off the bench in most contests (seven starts across 20 total appearances).

Kihei Clark - Puts up 15 against Cardinals
Clark closed with 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt), five rebounds and five assists over 39 minutes during Monday's 64-52 victory over Louisville.
Impact
Clark has been a regular starter for the Cavaliers this season, but he hasn't been a very consistent player across the board and those woes are especially noticeable on offense. Even though this 15-point game was a solid outing, it's worth noting that this was just the second time he scored in double digits in the current month. Clark is now averaging 8.8 points per game in eight January appearances.

Kadin Shedrick - Scores 11 off bench Monday
Shedrick amassed 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 24 minutes during Monday's 64-52 victory over Louisville.
Impact
Shedrick was a regular starter in the first two months of the season, but he's been playing off the bench in each of the Cavaliers' last four games. He's been inconsistent but has found ways to be productive, putting up double-digit points in two of those four appearances.

Jarrod West - Scores 14 points off bench
West provided 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-4 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 25 minutes during Saturday's 82-70 loss to Notre Dame.
Impact
West notched 14 points, a season-high mark, and this seems as if he could have carved a niche coming off the bench. He's started most of the season, though, so it wouldn't be surprising if he returns to a starting role sooner than later.
