ImpactSmart and the Tigers executed their game plan at their pace and were ultimately able to pull away in the second half. Individually, this was Smart's highest scoring total of SEC play and first double-double of the 2020-21 campaign. While Cam Thomas gets a lot of the spotlight due to his high-volume scoring, the Tigers surely wouldn't sport a 7-4 record in SEC play without Smart's service as floor general.

ImpactDays may have initially been slated for a multi-week absence but will ultimately only end up missing one game due to a knee injury picked up at the end of January. He doesn't appear to be slowed down by the injury in any capacity, as the junior outpaced his season-long averages in scoring (12.4 ppg) and rebounding (8.1 rpg) in this contest. If an impatient manager happened to drop him in a season-long league, go ahead and scoop up the 6-7 forward in short order.

Emerging for BulldogsFountain compiled 20 points (8-12 FG, 4-7 3PT), seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block over 27 minutes Wednesday versus LSU.
ImpactFountain has been silent for most of the season but has recently carved out a role in the rotation, playing 29 and 27 minutes over the last two games. He took advantage of the extra playing time Wednesday, which bodes well for the freshman's chances to see plenty of action moving forward.

ImpactIt's not clear at this point why Matthews did not take the court against the Tigers.
