Impact Hall recorded seven rebounds in a second straight game while getting far more active from the field in a cagey loss to the 'Zags. While scoring isn't likely to be a major feature of Hall's game, his work on the glass and an increasing role in the starting rotation will help his production.

Impact Hall took on a bench role on Senior Night on Sunday, but he was productive on the scoreboard with a team-high 17 points to lead the Spartans to the win. The junior had started each of the three matchups leading up to Sunday's regular-season finale, but he averaged just 3.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 21.0 minutes per game during that time. While his performance against the Terrapins was encouraging, it's not yet clear whether Hall or Joey Hauser will start during Michigan State's Big Ten Tournament opener against Maryland on Thursday.

He tallied 17 points -- his best total of conference play -- this week against Iowa, but sandwiched that effort in between games of zero and two points. He can look like the best offensive player on the court at some times, but essentially disappears at others. It's likely best to limit exposure to large-field tournaments in daily formats.
