ImpactEven with James Bouknight returning to the starting lineup, Cole continues to serve as a valuable secondary scoring option for the tournament-hopeful Huskies. He's returned to the starting lineup over the last four contests, putting up 15.3 points -- along with 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds -- over that span. UConn has now won four of its last five games, helping its case for an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament.

Doesn't return after taking shot to faceCain (face) had five points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3PT, 0-1 FT) and seven rebounds in 30 minutes before departing Saturday's 80-62 loss to UConn after taking a blow to the face.

ImpactCain got hit in the face with a little under five minutes remaining in Saturday's game and did not end up returning after he needed assistance getting off the court. There hasn't been any follow-up on his condition but it could be assumed that the 6-7 senior suffered a potential concussion. Marquette has two more games before the Big East Tournament gets underway so it'll be interesting to see whether Cain is able to return for either of those or not.

ImpactLewis had been sidelined for six of the last seven games with a lower-body injury, but the freshman is back to provide post depth for the Golden Eagles as Big East play winds down. He's a valuable pivot option off the bench when Theo John isn't getting the job done for coach Steve Wojciechowski, as Lewis is third on the team in rebounding at 5.8 rpg while providing similar scoring numbers to John.

Dealing with rolled ankleCoach Dan Hurley revealed after Saturday's game versus Marquette that Carlton rolled his ankle but didn't know the severity of the issue, Charlotte Carroll of The Athletic reports.

ImpactCarlton returned to the bench after his exit but doesn't seem to have checked back into the contest. His status will be one worth monitoring ahead of next Saturday's game versus Georgetown.
