David Joplin - Money man in OT thrillerJoplin produced 30 points (9-17 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 5-11 FT), four rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 42 minutes during Tuesday's 85-83 OT victory over DePaul.
ImpactJoplin stepped up, especially as a shooter, in a game that was forecasted to be a blowout Marquette win. The 6-foot-8 senior attempted a season-high 13 threes, and this ended up contributing to a season-best 30 points. His monster performance didn't end on the offensive side of the ball, though; as he had two rejections and two steals, his best combined effort of the month. The Golden Eagles will need to register a substantially better team effort moving forward if they hope to take the Big East, which will likely take more pressure of the big man. Nonetheless, he showcased that he can rise to the occasion in close games, and he should continue to do so in some capacity moving forward.

Isaiah Rivera - 20 points off bench in close lossRivera totaled 20 points (7-10 FG, 6-8 3Pt) and seven rebounds in 17 minutes during Tuesday's 85-83 OT loss to Marquette.
ImpactRivera logged his best game in his past six games with a bench role and arguably even this season. The 6-foot-5 senior popped a season-best six three pointers, and he also grabbed a campaign-high seven rebounds. This performance may not land him back in the starting lineup, but it will at least still keep his role consistent as the Blue Demons look to beat Georgetown this Friday.
