Zach Edey - Continues hot startEdey finished Tuesday's 75-70 win over Marquette with 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-5 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 33 minutes.
ImpactEdey now has double-doubles in three straight games to open the season, shooting high marks from the field and from the free-throw line. No one has found a way to slow him down yet and as a big man, Edey will be even tougher to stop if he continues his improvement from the stripe.

ImpactGillis as a starter does more to make room for Zach Edey than to generate production for himself. So long as the Boilermakers keep winning, Gillis should at least maintain his place in the lineup.

ImpactSmith took his time to get the ball rolling but exploded in his third game thanks to efficient shooting in multiple areas of the court. Getting Smith or Fletcher Loyer to become high-volume scorers could do wonders for the Boilermakers by offering another worry for opposing defenses along with Zach Edey down low.
