Arashma Parks - Misses season openerParks (shoulder) did not take the court in Wednesday's season-opening victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore.
ImpactParks was in and out of the lineup during his freshman season with Temple, and May shoulder surgery finally provided some context for his multiple absences. He had yet to be fully cleared as of late-August, and with no official exhibition games on the slate, news was sparse regarding his status. This is a player who should eventually factor into the frontcourt rotation, though it's unclear if he'll be able to gain clearance prior to a tough Saturday matchup against USC.

Jahlil White - Back from knee injuryWhite finished Wednesday's 72-49 win over Maryland Eastern Shore with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist over 13 minutes.
ImpactWhite missed his entire inaugural season with the Owls after undergoing knee surgery last November, but it looks like the 6-7 wing is ready to contribute in a depth role in 2021-22. Temple was also missing Arashma Parks (shoulder) for the contest, and he's a player that should ultimately factor into the frontcourt rotation as well. Nonetheless, it's encouraging that White was one of only four reserves that saw game action.
