Scores season-high 33 Abmas had 33 points (13-21 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, five assists and four steals in 38 minutes during Monday's 93-85 loss to Baylor. Impact Abmas shot 61.9% from the floor and 40.0% from three, putting up season-highs in scoring (33), field-goals made (13) and shot attempts (21). His field-goal with 13:16 remaining in the game put Texas up 11, but he only shot 1-for-6 thereafter as the entire Texas offense went cold, with Abmas' one additional shot made representing the only Longhorn field-goal until the 0:39 mark, well after Baylor had pulled off the comeback and put the game away. Abmas, who also led the team in assists and steals on the night, will need to take on an even greater scoring load if Dylan Disu, who left in the second half with a non-contact knee sprain, is forced to miss time in either the upcoming Big 12 and/or NCAA tournaments.
