Ruptures achilles Eggleston will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his right achilles tendon, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Impact Eggleston ruptured his achilles in the first game of the season against Syracuse. He underwent successful surgery and now faces a long road to recovery to try to get back out on the court. It's not clear if he will be ready for the season opener next season yet.

Granted waiver for 2020-21 Eggleston has been given a waiver from the NCAA which makes him immediately eligible for the 2020-21 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Eggleston started his career with Wake Forest, before playing at Arkansas State last season where he averaged 8.4 points and 5.1 rebounds in 20.4 minutes per contest. Eggleston will provide a solid option in the frontcourt for Bryant.
