Jabri Abdur-Rahim - Cashes pivotal three-pointerAbdur-Rahim supplied 15 points (4-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 23 minutes during Wednesday's 82-79 win over Memphis.
ImpactAbdur-Rahim was the leader among Georgia reserves in both scoring and minutes played, but his story here was his pivotal three-pointer with two minutes remaining that put Georgia on top. The Bulldogs were able to secure the game with free-throw shooting from there, but it was the Virginia transfer's big shot that finally got them over the hump. Abdur-Rahim started for the Bulldogs on opening night and has made two starts since then, but it's been a struggle offensively for much of the early season. Through six games, Abdur-Rahim was shooting just 21.9 percent from the field and 11.8 percent from distance. Over the last two games, however, he's a combined 10-for-15 from the field and 7-for-11 from distance, suggesting he may be in the midst of a turnaround.

Kario Oquendo - Leads scoring in upsetOquendo closed with 24 points (9-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, one block and two steals over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 82-79 victory over Memphis.
ImpactOquendo arrived to Georgia from the JUCO ranks and is now one of four Bulldogs players averaging double figures, collecting 10.9 points per game. He was especially needed Wednesday with starting point guard Aaron Cook sidelined due to illness, which opened the door for the 6-4 guard to match his season high in attempted field goals. Little is expected of this Georgia team, though Oquendo could be a spot to potentially build on moving forward.
