Alex Lomax - Out multiple weeksLomax (groin) is out multiple weeks, according to Parth Upadhyaya of The Daily Memphian.

ImpactMemphis' head coach Penny Hardaway said Lomax is out "a couple weeks or more" because of his injured groin. He will log at least three absences. The earliest date Lomax can return is Jan. 29 against Tulsa, where fantasy managers should expect his availability status to be doubtful though.

ImpactAkobundu-Ehiogu made his first start of the season, finishing with two points and two blocks as the Tigers beat Temple on Sunday. The 6-foot-10 senior has appeared in 17 games this season, logging 2.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks on 10.4 minutes per game. It appears unlikely that Akobundu-Ehiogu would take over a much larger role this season.
