Impact Following his first game started as a collegiate athlete, Nwoko never received that luxury again during Miami's 2023-24 season, which primarily featured Norchad Omier as the primary center. And with Omier having one more season of collegiate eligibility, Nwoko would likely be subject to another campaign as a reserve, assuming his aforementioned teammate re-enrolled at Miami. Rather than all that, Nwoko will consider transferring to see if a more favorable opportunity is available.

Impact It'll be the first career start for the freshman Nwoko, with Norchad Omier (undisclosed) unavailable. Nwoko, a former four-star recruit, is averaging two points and 1.8 rebounds in 7.9 minutes through 14 games this season.
