Tyson Walker - Limited impact in opener Walker totaled two points (1-3 FG), three assists, a rebound and a steal in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 87-74 loss to Kansas. Impact Walker played a significant role for Northeastern last year and averaged 18.8 points and 4.8 assists in 34.9 minutes per game while serving exclusively as a starter. He was in the starting five for the Spartans in Tuesday's opener, but he got into some foul trouble and played just 20 minutes. While the junior should have plenty of chances to carve out a role at Michigan State, Tuesday's performance was an indicator that he could also experience some growing pains as he adjusts to a higher level of competition.
