Impact Normand redshirted his freshman season, and is still buried on the depth chart in East Lansing. He reportedly played well and hit a few shots, but there's simply a lot of options at guard and wing for head coach Tom Izzo. Still, it's encouraging to see Normand healthy and contributing after he dealt with a foot injury last season as well.

Jeremy Fears - Starting offseason game Fears is listed as a starter for Michigan State in an offseason international scrimmage, per the team's official X account.
Impact Fears was previously continuing recovery after being shot in the leg last December, but the 6-foot-2 freshman appears to be ready to go. Fears appeared in 12 games for the Spartans last season prior to his injury, averaging 3.5 points and 3.3 assists per game. Fears also received a medical redshirt for the season due to his injury, allowing him to retain four seasons of eligibility.

Impact Fears reportedly indicated that he felt about 95% recovered following practice a couple weeks ago after being shot in the leg in December. The 6-foot-2 freshman averaged 3.5 points and 3.3 assists in 15.3 minutes per game for Michigan State as a freshman in 2023 prior to his injury, and is likely in line to be the starting point guard for Tom Izzo's squad for the next several years following the departures of A.J. Hoggard and Tyson Walker.
