Impact Smith was immediately eligible to play during the 2020-21 season as a graduate transfer from Columbia, and he wasted no time in making his presence felt with the Wolverines. The 5-11 guard picked up three fouls, but he had a team-high eight assists as he helped propel Michigan's offense against the Falcons.

Impact Wagner appeared to roll his left ankle while scrambling for a loose ball late in the first half, and he was examined by trainers on the sidelines after exiting the game. He went to the locker room slightly before halftime, but he wasn't walking with a noticeable limp. It's unclear whether he'll be able to return during the second half.
