Tarris Reed - Scores nine points Reed logged nine points (4-4 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across his 20 minutes during the Wolverines' 99-74 win Tuesday against UNC Asheville.

Impact Reed has a new career high in points. During the Wolverines' 2022-23 season, he scored eight twice but finished with a scoring average of 3.4. But because Hunter Dickinson transferred, they need someone to replace him as their primary center. Currently, Reed seems to be the favorite, which would likely boost his scoring rate significantly.

Impact Khayat saw seven minutes of action as the Wolverines made short work of UNC Asheville in Tuesday's season opener. The 6-foot-9 sophomore was listed as questionable ahead of the contest but logged two points and two rebounds in the game. Khayat will likely fill a reserve role in the Wolverines' frontcourt this season.

Impact Reed is dealing with an undisclosed injury it appears and he might not suit up for the regular season opener. Reed worked behind Hunter Dickinson last season and averaged 3.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per game as the backup center. Tennessee transfer Olivier Nkamhoua should still see the majority of the minutes, but Reed is expected to see more playing time in the 2023-24 campaign with Dickinson gone.

Impact Llewellyn is inching closer to his return to the court, but he still has not done anything beyond non-contact practice. He is nearly 11 months removed from an ACL injury he suffered last season, so the expectation is that he will be ready to return fairly soon. In October he said his goal was to suit up for the season opener against UNC-Asheville Tuesday, however that now seems unlikely given he still is not full-contact.
