Impact Mitchell has been one of the top shooters in the country this season. He is making 3.4 three-pointers per contest and hitting at an absurd 55-percent clip. The sophomore is also putting up 14.3 PPG, 4.1 APG, and 1.3 SPG. Mitchell and Houston Mallette make up one of the top guard combos in the WCC. UC-Santa Barbara will be up next on Saturday.

Impact Mitchell posted his first double-double of the season and was just two assists shy of a triple-double as Pepperdine's season ended in the first round of the WCC Tournament. He took on a bigger role as the season wore on and shot an impressive 40 percent from three. Mitchell earned a spot on the WCC All-Freshman Team.

Impact Mitchell posted a team-high 12 points, although it wasn't his most efficient night as he shot just 38 percent from the floor. The freshman point guard has been thrown into the thick of things immediately, leading the team with 33.6 minutes per game. He's shown good range from deep where he's connecting on 41 percent of threes thus far.

Uneven performance in win Mitchell logged 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound, three assists, one block and one steal across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 72-67 victory over UC Davis.
Impact Mitchell only missed one shot attempt in the win as one of four Pepperdine starters in double figures. He was unable to keep the ball on the Waves side, however, committing a whopping seven turnovers as the freshman showed signs of his youth. Through four games he's averaging 35 minutes, as he's being thrown into a starting role right away without much depth on an inexperienced Pepperdine squad.
