Impact Since transferring from Oregon, Davis has seen his scoring, rebounding and shooting percentages drop through 17 games (15 starts) with Mississippi State. On the bright side, the 14 points he put up Wednesday were his highest total since the start of SEC play, though his Bulldogs still sit in the cellar with a 1-7 conference record.

D.J. Jeffries - Remains fixture for Bulldogs Jeffries finished Wednesday's 66-63 loss to Alabama with nine points (4-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 34 minutes.
Impact Jeffries has started every game this season for the Bulldogs, and while his scoring output is similar, his shooting percentage has fallen dramatically to 33.2, in addition to shooting a career-low 27.1 percent from distance. On the bright side, he's posting career highs in rebounding (6.0 rpg) and steals (1.4 spg). While the metrics suggest Mississippi State is better than their record says, the Bulldogs fell to 1-7 in conference play Wednesday and might have an uphill battle to make the NCAA Tournament.
