Connor Vanover - Slow start after suspension Vanover had zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, one block and one steal across six minutes during Saturday's 78-70 win over Loyola Maryland. Impact Vanover is a fifth-year senior who was expected to log meaningful minutes for Missouri this season after posting 12.7 points and 7.2 rebounds at Oral Roberts, but so far, the 7-5 center has been just a modest contributor. He returned from a three-game suspension -- which was the result of an eligibility issue -- Nov. 16 against Minnesota, but was held scoreless in seven minutes off the bench. Vanover then moved into the starting five and has stayed there for three games, but he's logged just a combined seven points across 26 total minutes. The uncertain usage makes it tough to rely on Vanover in advance of Tuesday's showdown at Pittsburgh, as Missouri continues to run a deep rotation, with Jordan Butler, Aidan Shaw, Noah Carter, Jesus Carralero Martin and Trent Pierce all seeing time at center.
