It seems unlikely he'll face additional discipline for the hit given he was forced to sit out the rest of the game, and the Red Storm took a two-point loss due largely in part to his absence.

Impact Mathis has started every game this season so his omission from the lineup comes as a bit of a surprise. The 6-4 junior has seen his shot go cold as he's shooting just 25.8 percent from the floor over his last four games and hasn't topped 10 points since Jan. 2.
