Impact The freshman forward reportedly broke his wrist and is out for at least the Illini' clash with Wisconsin on Tuesday and likely much longer; in fact, there's no current timetable for his return. This is a big blow in Champaign, as Johnson had started the past eight games and was shooting at a highly efficient 66.7 percent from the field.

Impact Johnson has been a valuable forward option off the bench for the Illini during his freshman year, but he entered the starting lineup for a Jan. 23 contest against Maryland and hasn't looked back since. Over four starts, Johnson is averaging 9.8 points and 7.8 rebounds, culminating in a career day on the glass Sunday.
