Productive in return Thiam (ankle) provided 11 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds and three blocks across 29 minutes during Sunday's 74-59 victory over California Baptist. Impact Thiam made his return to action for UCF on Sunday after missing the team's previous game against Milwaukee with an ankle injury. The freshman center didn't miss a beat in his return, recording 11 points and a season-high seven rebounds along with three blocks in a game in which the Knights rode a dominant second half to a blowout win. Thiam has had a solid start to his freshman season, averaging 5.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game through six contests as the team's starting center. A week off should allow Thiam's ankle to fully recover before next Sunday's matchup against Tarleton State.
