Impact Phillips had previously appeared in 22 games for Georgia State and even started 11, but no word of a specific injury has yet surfaced for the junior guard. He did miss out on a Feb. 23 contest due to unspecified reasons as well, but returned to log 10 minutes off the bench in the regular season finale just two days later. With Georgia State clinching a NCAA Tournament bid, it remains unclear if Phillips will be available to contribute. In his stead, leading scorer Corey Allen has retaken his spot in the starting five.
