Impact Despite being a college freshman, Cooper intending to transfer is not so surprising, considering Lorenzo Romar was fired as Pepperdine's head coach before the 2024 West Coast Tournament. The guard will enroll at a school whose basketball program is with an HC he can be optimistic about. Cooper has three seasons of collegiate eligibility remaining.

Solid performance in start Cooper closed Thursday's 102-43 win over Pacific with eight points (4-4 FG, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals across 22 minutes.

Impact The freshman saw his first start of the season in the WCC tournament in round one against Pacific. Cooper managed to score eight points while going perfect from the field. Expect the guard to possibly see a second straight start as Pepperdine faces San Diego in the second round of the West Coast Conference tournament Friday.
