Jett Howard has been battling ankle injuries all season and is day-to-day after the Wolverine win. If the freshman sits out as he did Tuesday, Baker is expected to continue being a part of Michigan's starting XI as long as the Wolverines remain alive in the NIT.

ImpactHoward has reportedly been dealing with an ankle issue all season, which forced him to sit out for Tuesday's 90-80 win over Toledo. The 6-foot-8 freshman, who has started in 29 games this season, averaging 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, two assists and 0.7 blocks on 31.7 minutes per game, will likely remain a game-time decision for Saturday's showdown with Vanderbilt.
