Impact Hayes has scored in double digits in four of his last five contests, but he delivered his best scoring output of the campaign here thanks to an excellent shooting performance -- he registered a season-high mark in shots made and tied his season-high mark for field-goal attempts. Hayes is closing out the season on a strong note and is averaging 12.8 points per game over his last five appearances.

Done for season North Carolina State head coach Kevin Keatts announced Tuesday that Allen (ankle) will miss the remainder of the season.

Impact The Nebraska transfer first suffered the injury during practice in mid-February, and after visiting with doctors, he was recommended to sit out the rest of the campaign. Before sustaining the season-ending left ankle injury, Allen averaged 7.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.3 steals in 26.5 minutes per game. A redshirt junior this past season, Allen will have up to two years of eligibility remaining entering 2021-22.

Hellems also led the team in rebounds and assists while recording a team-high two steals along with two other teammates -- Cam Hayes and Shakeel Moore.
