Impact High's production in this exhibition contest was encouraging for the four-star freshman, but he still has a few notable roadblocks to consistent playing time. Both Armando Bacot and Harrison Ingram seem to have starting frontcourt spots wrapped up, and fellow power forward Jae'Lyn Withers was held out of this exhibition contest due to an upper body injury. There's a chance the extra minutes High picked up Friday go to Withers once he's healthy, but High nonetheless made a strong impression. He should definitely be on the radar in dynasty formats, as UNC is set to lose significant scoring and minutes production after the 2023-24 season.

Harrison Ingram - Solid Tar Heel debut Ingram had 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks across 25 minutes in Friday's 117-53 exhibition victory over Saint Augustine.
Impact Ingram fit right in during his first appearance as a Tar Heel following back-to-back seasons of double-digit scoring at Stanford. It appears he's found his way to a starting role alongside Armando Bacot, though it is worth noting that fellow power forward Jae'Lyn Withers sat out this game with an upper-body injury. More clarity on the rotation will of course be provided when UNC opens up its regular season Nov. 6 against Radford.

Paxson Wojcik - Draws start in exhibition Wojcik had eight points (3-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt) and seven rebounds across 26 minutes in Friday's 117-53 exhibition victory over Saint Augustine.
Impact Despite some four and five-star talent in North Carolina's recruiting class, the Tar Heels sided with experience in this one, giving the start to the fifth-year senior in Wojcik. The 6-5 wing is coming off a career season with Brown, averaging 14.8 points and 7.2 rebounds across 34.5 mpg. It's unlikely he reaches those marks with significant offensive scoring threats at each position for UNC, but he'll also warrant less defensive attention here and should improve his efficiency as a role player.

Armando Bacot - Business as usual Bacot had 13 points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists across 21 minutes in Friday's 117-53 exhibition victory over Saint Augustine.
Impact Saint Augustine predictably had no answer for the 6-11 center, as Bacot was able to get whatever he needed down low before ceding to backups Jalen Washington and Zayden High later in the contest. It was a solid tune-up effort for the fifth year senior, and without any further exhibition games officially scheduled, he and the Tar Heels will officially open up the regular season Monday against Radford.

Jae'Lyn Withers - Sits out exhibition game Withers (upper body) did not play when North Carolina hosted St. Augustine's for an exhibition game Friday, according to R.L. Bynum of the Tar Heel Tribune.
Impact Withers may not be available for when North Carolina's team begins its upcoming season. He has an upper-body injury that caused his exhibition absence Friday. If unable to recover within one week, Withers will sit out UNC's game against Radford on Nov. 6.

Impact It was business as usual for Davis, who projects to be the primary ball-handler and backcourt scoring option for the Tar Heels in his fourth collegiate season. Without any further exhibition games official on the schedule, Davis and the team will next take the court in their season opener against Radford on Nov. 6.
