Syracuse game postponedThe Jan. 2 matchup between Syracuse and North Carolina has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, Brendan Marks of The Athletic reports.

ImpactSyracuse had a COVID-19 positive test in their program, so they will shut down team activities for a bit. North Carolina is still scheduled to take on Georgia Tech on Dec. 30 and then Miami on Jan. 5. There's no word on when the Syracuse game will be rescheduled.

ImpactMoore finished as the Wolfpack's second-highest scorer in this game, and he did it in limited minutes so it's safe to say he made the most of the opportunity he had. This was Moore's first double-digit scoring game this season but is yet to play 20 or more minutes in a game, so this kind of performance isn't really expected to set the tone for his contributions moving forward.

Love extended his double-digit scoring streak to four games, but he is making just 30 percent of his shots in that span and needs to find a way to boost his percentages if he wants to keep his upside high.

ImpactBacot has been North Carolina's best player by a wide margin this season, and he paced the Tar Hells in scoring while finishing with the second-most rebounds. Bacot has scored in double digits in all but one of his appearances this season, and the sophomore big man is averaging a career-best 12.0 points with 8.4 rebounds per game in 2020-21.
