ImpactWalker is one of a large group of players who had been awaiting a waiver as a multiple-time, undergrad transfer, but a court ruling and subsequent NCAA announcement last week seemed to clear these players to play immediately. While a report Sunday morning suggested that Walker would be available, he ultimately didn't suit up. It's a bit of a surprising considering the team deployed a nine-man rotation, as well as the fact the game got away from the Mean Green in the second half. No report of an injury has surfaced, and Walker's next opportunity to take the court will be Saturday against UT-Arlington.

Rondel Walker - Available at Mississippi StateWalker (not injury related) is available for North Texas' game Sunday at Mississippi State, according to Brett Vito of The Tyler Morning Telegraph.

ImpactWalker, who has transferred colleges multiple times, was previously ineligible to participate in games due to his status as a multi-time transfer. But because the NCAA is involved in a legal dispute concerning the matter, that gives at least temporary eligibility for players like him, who will take that advantage. Despite not performing well for either Oklahoma State or TCU, Walker is expected to do much better as part of a less competitive North Texas team.
