Julian Roper - Officially done for season Northwestern head coach Chris Collins confirmed Wednesday that Roper (ankle) won't be available during the NCAA Tournament, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports. Impact As expected, Roper's sophomore season has officially come to an end after he suffered a setback with his ankle upon returning from a three-game absence in February. He played in just one game before being shut down for good, and he'll continue to focus on rehabbing from the injury when the Wildcats open their tournament run Thursday versus Boise State. Roper suited up in 15 games in 2022-23, averaging 4.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 21.3 minutes.
