Impact There's no official word yet on whether or not Sotos will take on Purdue on Tuesday, but the way coach Holtmann is speaking it sounds like this shoulder injury is still an issue for Sotos. It would be his third straight missed game if he's unable to go Tuesday.

Impact Walker will miss his fourth consecutive game on Tuesday against Purdue. Walker has been battling this hand injury since before the seasons started and is now getting it looked at by a specialist after being ineffective playing with it. There is no timetable for his return.

Impact Towns' playing time has been inconsistent this year, but he's posted double-digit scoring totals in each of the games in which he's played at least 15 minutes. In his first season with Ohio State, he's averaging 5.1 points and 2.3 rebounds over 8.8 minutes per game.

Impact Ahrens has been in the starting five during each of the past two contests, and he's put up double-digit scoring totals in each of those appearances. The junior has been quite inconsistent early in the season, but he appears to be getting into a rhythm on the scoreboard while he's been starting games for the Buckeyes.

Impact Despite the size disadvantage, Liddell took Kofi Cockburn to school for a career-high 26 points as Cockburn was constantly caught sagging off him. The 6-7 sophomore is a Chicago native and was heavily recruited by head coach Brad Underwood but ultimately chose to go to the Buckeyes and had a statement game against his familiar foe. Saturday's outing was just the second instance in which Liddell crossed the 20 point mark but he's clearly shown he has the capabilities to score at will on any given night.
