ImpactHugley's production so far in 2023-24 has been a bit of a disappointment for fantasy managers, due largely to the fact he's came off the bench in favor of Sam Goodwin in all five games. Despite not making the starting five, Hugley still sees more time at center than any other Sooner, and he's posting superior marks to Goodwin in scoring, minutes played, field-goal percentage and free-throw percentage. It's a bit unclear if Hugley's role is due to the team easing him back from last year's injury, or if this is an alignment that can be expected to continue into conference play. Hughley certainly has the capability of becoming an elite fantasy asset, as shown by the 14.8 ppg and 7.9 rpg averages he put up with Pitt in 2021-22, but he's been unable to replicate that success since. Effectively, the fourth-year player has been relegated to fringe fantasy relevance for the foreseeable future.
