The senior guard has seen his production drop by 11.5 minutes, 2.5 points, nearly two rebounds and one assist per game from last season. However, in his last four games since joining the starting lineup, Wright has averaged 29.0 minutes, scoring 13.3 points while draining 3.0 triples per contest.

ImpactAdams had a perfect night from the floor in matching Hunter Dickinson for the team lead in scoring in the rout. Adams also matched a season-high with six assists while adding a couple of steals and a block on the defensive end. The junior forward has had a solid season for the Jayhawks and stepped up his game even further once Big 12 play kicked into gear. Over eight conference games, Adams is averaging 13.8 points on 66.7% shooting from the field to go along with 5.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

ImpactWhile it was Elmarko Jackson that picked up the start with Kevin McCullar (knee) sidelined, Timberlake was elevated to the role of sixth-man in the lopsided victory, leading the Jayhawks in bench minutes. Individually, he picked up a season-best rebounding total, and matched his previous best with two assists and two steals. Three-point shooting was a big strength of Timberlake's at Towson, as he knocked down 2.8 threes per game in his fifth year at Towson, converting at a rate of 41.6 percent. Both numbers have taken a nose dive at Kansas, however, as he's now only attempting 2.5 per contest with a woeful success rate of 26.9 percent.
