ImpactThompson suffered an apparent left leg injury in the first half of Thursday's loss against the Bonnies and played just one minute in the second half before exiting the game for good. The 6-6 senior finished with seven points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two assists in 16 minutes. The extent of his injury is currently unknown, as we'll await a further update on his status from head coach Mike Boynton once an update is able to be given. John-Michael Wright is the leading candidate to re-enter the starting lineup with Thompson presumably out for Friday's action against the loser of the Notre Dame-Auburn game.
