ImpactOklahoma State's head coach Mike Boynton previously said Cisse's recurring ankle injury was a "scare" presumably not worth being worried about. Yet, he was forced to sit out Tuesday. Currently, Cisse's next opportunity to return is when the Cowboys host Mississippi on Saturday.

The 6-foot-8 freshman immediately started out in a prominent role for the Longhorns this season, though he's averaged just 3.4 points and 4.4 rebounds over eight conference games. Mitchell has also played more than 23 minutes just once during this span, so it appears he may have fallen into a smaller role compared to starting senior forwards Timmy Allen and Dylan Disu.
