Impact Dia finally made his presence felt on the boards, collecting 13 against the Jaguars. His scoring remains a question mark, as he's now shot 31 percent from the field over the first three games of the season. Regardless, the Rebels need Dia to at the very least be a presence on the glass, and he answered that call.

Impact Brakefield has yet to start a game this season, but he's averaging 26.3 minutes and he played 30 minutes against South Alabama. He also has double digit points in each game this year, including a season-high 14 against the Jaguars. Starter or not, Brakefield looks like an integral part of the the Rebels' lineup.

Sean Pedulla - Shoots threes with reckless abandon Pedulla notched 27 points (8-19 FG, 7-16 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and four steals across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 64-54 victory over South Alabama.

Impact Pedulla put up a whopping 16 three point shots against South Alabama after only attempting 10 in the first two games combined. Still, he hit seven of them, accounting for all but one of his field goals against the Jaguars. Time will tell if he continues to fire away from three, but after starting 2-for-10 from downtown in the Rebels' first two games, this was a cathartic performance.

The 6-foot-4 junior, who averaged 5.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists with the Rebels last season on 18.3 minutes per game (32 games), will look to return with Mississippi next season in a larger capacity.
