Max Abmas - Another high-scoring effortAbmas racked up 26 points (10-22 FG, 3-13 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 38 minutes during Monday's 82-75 loss to New Mexico.
ImpactAbmas remains one of the most prolific scorers in all of college basketball, even if his scoring average is down slightly from the last two seasons. The reason for that could at least partially be a superior supporting cast, as Oral Roberts also trots out former Power-5 center Connor Vanover, who chips in 13.0 ppg. Things have been heating up for Abmas, however, as the senior has two performances of 32 points or greater in his last four games, in addition to Monday's 26-point effort. He remains an elite fantasy asset in any nationwide formats as the Golden Eagles head into Summit League play.

Donovan Dent - Nine points off benchDent accumulated nine points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal in 28 minutes during Monday's 82-75 victory over Oral Roberts.
ImpactThe freshman has shot surprisingly well 47.1 percent from the field despite averaging just 5.7 points per game. The guard's performance Monday was his highest scoring game since Dec. 20. where he scored 14 points. Expect Dent to continue to be a second unit player for the Lobos.

Jaelen House - Solid performance in winHouse supplied 15 points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), three rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals over 38 minutes during Monday's 82-75 victory over Oral Roberts.
ImpactThe senior continues to impress this season now with nine straight double-digit outings after scoring 15 points in Monday's win. The guard averages 16.6 points while shooting 45.9 percent from the field. Expect House to keep shining as conference play continues.

KJ Jenkins - Scores seven in startJenkins totaled seven points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds and one block across 20 minutes during Monday's 82-75 victory over Oral Roberts.
ImpactJenkins started in his first game this season, logging seven points and two rebounds across 20 minutes of action. The 6-foot-2 senior, who was filling in for an injured Javonte Johnson, has contributed 8.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and one steal on 19.9 minutes per game this season. If Johnson is unable to suit up on Sunday against San Diego State, Jenkins will likely get the starting nod again.

Braden Appelhans - Out for seasonAppelhans (thumb) will sit out New Mexico's 2022-23 season remaining, according to Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal.
ImpactAppelhans suffered the injured thumb before New Mexico hosted UNLV on Saturday. He averaged 1.1 points and 1.3 rebounds across his nine games during 2022. Appelhans should receive opportunities to be a valued player before 2024, but the freshman's injured thumb could affect his development.

The 6-foot-6 junior has started in 16 games this season, logging 4.9 points, four rebounds, and one assist on 24.1 minutes per game. Jamal Mashburn - Benefits from additional gameMashburn logged 24 points (11-23 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal across 35 minutes during the Lobos' 82-75 win Monday versus Oral Roberts.
ImpactInitially, the Lobos were expected to host New Mexico State during 2022. That game was canceled though. The 2022-23 Lobos planned a compensatory matchup, which they scheduled to be played against Oral Roberts on Monday. That decision paid off for them. Mashburn was the Lobos' best scorer as they finally logged their first win of 2023.
