Impact Sandfort notched a 20-point double-double with seven assists and three blocks as the Hawkeyes took down Texas A&M-Commerce in their season opener. The 6-foot-8 senior picked up right where he left off after averaging 16.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists across 34 starts last season. Sandfort remains one of the best wings in the Big Ten and he will look to stay hot against Southern on Thursday.

Impact Sandfort will return for his final collegiate season with the Hawkeyes and look to improve his draft stock for next year's draft. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 16.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists on 30.4 minutes across 34 starts during the 2023-24 campaign.

Entering draft, retains eligibility Sandfort plans to enter the 2024 NBA Draft while maintaining his collegiate eligibility, per his announcement Tuesday.

Impact Now is Sandfort's only time to turn pro by choice before his collegiate eligibility runs out. However, him maintaining it means he is not all in on the professional side just yet.
