Wrist not a concernHarward (wrist) had seven points (2-5 FG, 3-6 FT) and nine rebounds in 19 minutes of action during Saturday's 65-54 win over Pepperdine.
ImpactHarward apparently injured his wrist last game against Portland but it wasn't severe enough for him to miss any time. The 6-11 junior has picked up his play lately as he's averaging 10.7 points and 8.7 rebounds over his last three contests. Harward's size and experience will continue to give him an edge over opponents as his role should continue to expand in his first year with the Cougars.

Leads team with 15 points in winAverette tallied 15 points (6-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and five assists in 25 minutes during Saturday's 65-54 victory over Pepperdine.
ImpactWith Alex Barcello being held to a season-low four points, Averette picked up the slack to the lead the Cougars with 15 points - his most in five WCC games. His role in the offense seems to be increasing as of late and this performance shouldn't hold him back any. He posted a 30-point game earlier in the season and is clearly capable of stepping up when called upon.

Breaks out of slump against BYURoss recorded 21 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and four assists across 37 minutes in Saturday's 65-54 loss to BYU.
ImpactRoss had failed to reach double figures in the Waves' first three conference games but stepped up with a game-high 21 points on a night when Kessler Edwards struggled. After leading the team in scoring a season ago, Ross has taken a step backwards but may be back on track after this performance. He's done an excellent job in the passing game, leading the team with 7.5 assists per game.
