Confirmed probable Russell (ankle) is probable for VCU's first game of the 2025 Atlantic 10 Tournament, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Impact Rothstein's last Russell update suggested his injury status was somewhere between probable and questionable. Now, it is no question, with the former taking center stage. This is welcome news for a VCU team that benefited from Russell, who averaged 11.1 points and 2.3 three-pointers made against Atlantic 10 colleges this season. He will look to continue his excellent scoring Friday, when the Rams play either Duquesne or St. Bonaventure in Washington, D.C..
