JJ Traynor - Done for seasonTraynor (shoulder) reinjured his shoulder during practice Friday and will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season, Matt McGavic of SI.com reports.
ImpactTraynor hadn't appeared in a contest since Dec. 3 but was presumably progressing prior to his reinjury Friday. In any event, the reinjury will keep him from retaking the floor this season, and Traynor should still be eligible to claim a medical redshirt for the lost campaign to return for 2024-25. The senior averaged 10.1 points and 4.6 boards over 25.5 minutes per game in his eight appearances (three starts) for the Cardinals this season.
