Jamarius Burton - Decent output in defeatBurton finished Friday's 57-56 loss to Virginia with 11 points (4-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 39 minutes.
ImpactThis was Burton's second game in double digits this season, but he's yet to score more than 11 points in a single contest. To make things even more complicated, he hasn't been able to score with efficiency either since he's making just 29.7 percent of his shots thus far.

John Hugley - Goes for 12 points in lossHugley posted 12 points (2-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 35 minutes during Friday's 57-56 loss to Virginia.
ImpactHugley has scored in double digits in all but two of his appearances this season, including each of his last three games. The big man also has three double-doubles and has been one of Pittsburgh's most consistent players in the first weeks of the campaign.

Armaan Franklin - Shooting woes surface againFranklin accumulated 10 points (5-14 FG, 0-6 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes during Friday's 57-56 win over Pittsburgh.
ImpactFranklin might have scored in double digits, but the fact that he ended with more field goals than points scored is concerning, to say the least. He's failed to surpass the 10-point mark in three games in a row and has been struggling with his shot as well, hitting just 40.9 percent of his field goals and 22.9 percent of his treys on the season.

Jayden Gardner - Scores game-high 15 pointsGardner had 15 points (7-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block across 34 minutes during Friday's 57-56 victory over Pittsburgh.
ImpactGardner has scored at least 15 points in three of his last four games and continues to settle as Virginia's main offensive threat. In fact, he has scored 10 or more points in all but two of his appearances to date. He is averaging 14.1 points per game, but surprisingly, that figure would be a career-worst mark for him given he put up 18.3 points per game in 2020-21.
