Posh Alexander - 29-point double-doubleAlexander accumulated 29 points (13-20 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, 12 assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 86-82 loss to Providence.

ImpactAlexander and the Red Storm did little to counter the Big East-leading Friars on the defensive end, but the shootout contest laid ground for some outstanding individual performances. Alexander's shined the most, as it was the first time all season h'es attempted 20 field goals, as well as the first time he's recorded double-digit assists. He's now averaging 5.2 assists per contest, which is second in the conference behind Marquette's Tyler Kolek.
