ImpactNewman started in his second consecutive game to begin the season, and he led the Boilermakers in playing time Thursday. While he had plenty of volume against Clemson, he wasn't particularly efficient, converting on just 42.9 percent of his shots from the floor. Although he's left some opportunities on the table, Newman's usage has been encouraging over the first two games of the year.
