New season scoring high Wahab had 18 points (5-6 FG, 8-12 FT), 10 rebounds, a block and an assist across 33 minutes in Tuesday's 80-57 loss to Connecticut. Impact Wahab benefitted from fellow forward Chandler Bile landing in foul trouble and the big man ended up producing his second consecutive double-double. While he was held out of the starting five just once this year back on January 30, that trend has not continued so far in February. Despite steadily tough Big East matchups, the sophomore has put up 12.7 points and 8.8 rebounds in six games this month.
