Impact While Chaney started the game, he did come off the court early with a left hand injury, according to Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle. Fortunately he was able to return to the game, though his absence did result in minutes increases for Josh Carlton and J'Wan Roberts at the five. Per Duarte, Carlton limped off and missed time as well, but he too was able to return. This all makes for an interesting frontcourt rotation during non-conference play, which continues with a matchup Monday against Butler.

Impact Chaney is in the starting unit Sunday in place of Brison Gresham. The 6-8 junior has averaged 4.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game this season and has a chance to potentially improve those marks in a starting role Sunday.
